Air Marshal Norman Walsh

Air Marshal Norman Walsh OLM, BCR, ESM

From ORAFS 3rd August 2010: “Sad News from Merilyn Walsh.
Norman passed away about two hours ago. An old rugby injury made his cerebellum shut down. He is to be cremated, no service etc. He was a no nonsense fellow, we are doing what he wanted, no flowers, nothing please.
Footnote from ORAF: Norman gained his Wings as a member of 5 SSU who attested in1956. He later commanded the Air Force of Zimbabwe. He was resident in Australia at time of death.

Our sincere condolences to Merilyn. Norman was a great man in our Air Force, right to the end. We will remember him.
